Environmental Policy

At SICA we work with the maximum rigour and control to prevent and minimise the environmental impacts that our activity could generate.

We are committed to complying with the legal regulations applicable to all the company's activities and other requirements that the company subscribes to, as well as with the general environmental objectives and the philosophy of continuously improving the efficiency of the environmental management system, based on compliance with the requirements of the UNE-EN ISO 14001:2015 standard. The company's management considers and declares the following environmental objectives:

• To combine production efficiency with environmental results.
• Commitment to comply with customer requirements, both legal and regulatory.
• Commitment to permanent progress in environmental management and to carry out a periodic evaluation of the effects of our activities, in order to promote continuous improvement and the prevention and minimisation of pollution derived from the provision of our services.
• Commitment to reduce, reuse and recycle the waste generated, as well as to reduce as much as possible the consumption of natural resources.
• Promote training, awareness and motivation of our staff, including subcontractors, in matters related to the environment.
• Encourage from the company's Management the dedication and motivation in the positions of responsibility.

To achieve these objectives, it is the policy of the company's Management to lead and promote the execution of the following actions:

• Establish and maintain an efficient and effective system, based on the requirements of the UNE-EN-ISO 14001:2015 Standard, planned and developed in a set of procedures.
• Maintain an active policy aimed at the continuous training of all the company's workers and subcontractors.

 

 

To guarantee that this environmental policy is understood at all levels of the organisation, the Management makes it public on the company's notice board and will prepare the necessary training in environmental matters for all the organisation's personnel and those who work for it.

The energy sector is undergoing a process of change and we want to be part of it. At SICA we share the current concern about energy saving and the environmental effect that electrical energy generates. For this reason, every day we put all our effort into contributing to the continuous improvement of this sector.

In accordance with existing legislation on energy efficiency, the European Parliament Directive and the 2008-2012 Action Plan, we are committed to our clients by offering them the necessary tools that allow them to manage their resources in the most efficient way, achieving greater savings in energy resources.

To achieve this objective we have the most advanced and flexible technology that adapts to the needs of each of our clients depending on the field of activity in which they work. Our company's methodology allows us to measure, analyse and subsequently make the most appropriate decisions that contribute to energy efficiency and savings, always having the quality of service as our main premise.
